Training Centre Coach

Aaron Luchuk is a prolific Canadian forward who currently competes for the Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL and applies his high-level playing experience as a coach at the RELM Hockey Development Centre. A 5′10″, 188‑lb left-shooter, Luchuk emerged as a dominant scorer in the OHL with the Windsor Spitfires and Barrie Colts, recording an impressive 115 points in 68 games, and earning the prestigious Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy as the league’s top overage player in 2017–18. Undrafted, he turned pro in 2018 and quickly made his mark in the ECHL and AHL, but it was with Orlando in 2020–21 that he truly shined, leading the entire ECHL with 74 points (28 goals, 46 assists), capturing the league scoring title, earning First Team All‑ECHL honors, and receiving the Sportsmanship Award. He continued his strong play in subsequent seasons, re-signing with the Solar Bears for 2023–24 and posting 49 points in 61 games during 2023–24. Prior to his professional career, Luchuk won a Memorial Cup with Windsor in 2016–17 and notched 251 points over 274 major junior games. Alongside his playing career, Aaron has been a featured coach at the RELM Hockey Development Centre, where he delivers forward-skills sessions, shares video-analysis insights, and mentors younger athletes, bringing a balanced blend of elite achievement, competitive drive, and sportsmanship to the next generation of players.
