Player Spotlight – Brayden Harris
Name: Brayden Harris

Brayden joins us for his second season in Kingston as a member of the Wranglers. His goals for his second season were simple, improve on his offensive output and earn key minutes on the ice. Our baseline analysis, revealed a poor posture leading to inefficiencies that required nearly 60 strides for a 35 second skate at 20 kpm. Our coaches and Brayden analyzed his skating analysis, on-ice testing, and off-ice testing to design a targetted program to help him achieve his goals.
Prior to the Christmas break, Brayden re-tested and his results are impressive! His vertical jump, a great predictor for acceleration, improved by over 32%, his improvements to his skating mechanics resulted in improved efficiency requiring only 50 strides in 35 seconds at 22 kpm.
Brayden has recently made the South Africa Ice Hockey U18 National Team competing in Bosnia for the IIHF Championships this season.
