Adult Hockey Tournament Divisions

Please ensure you register your team in the correct division.  All players participating in this tournament will need to have photo identification with their age if requested.  Divisions require at least four teams to run.

Men A (Competitive level):

  • Highly skilled players who have participated in higher levels of hockey (AAA, Rep, Semi-Pro, Junior A/Major/Senior, Europe or University) during their minor/major hockey development.
  • Slapshots are allowed.
  • No Body Checking.
  • Was not offered in 2018.

Men B (Semi-competitive level):

  • Team is comprised primarily of Intermediate level players. These players may have played at the Junior AA/AAA, AAA Rep Midget, or College Rep Team.
  • No former Pro players are permitted at this level.
  • Slapshots are allowed.
  • No Body Checking.

Men C (Less competitive level than B):

  • The recreational division is for players who have participated in Rep, J.V. High School levels, and/or House league during their minor hockey development.
  • Slapshots are allowed.
  • No Body Checking.

Men 35+ (Competitive): 

  • This competitive 35+ division shall be comprised players 35 years of age and over as of January 1st of the year of the tournament is held.  There will be no maximum age limit.
  • Goalies may be 30 years old or more as of January 1st.
  • No Slapshots.
  • No Body Checking.

Men 35+ (Recreational): 

  • This gentlemen’s division shall be comprised players 35 years of age and over as of January 1st of the year of the tournament is held.  There will be no maximum age limit.
  • Goalies may be 30 years old or more as of January 1st.
  • No Slapshots.
  • No Body Checking.

Men 40+: 

  • This division shall be comprised players 40 years of age and over as of January 1st of the year of the tournament is held.  There will be no maximum age limit.
  • Goalies may be 35 years old or more as of January 1st.
  • No Slapshots.
  • No Body Checking.

Division D (Recreational):

  • The team is comprised of primarily recreational players who want to play for fun.
  • Players did not play Junior/Senior in the last 10 years. Teams are often co-ed, made up of family & friends, or co-workers.
  • No Slapshots allowed.
  • No Body Checking.

Women Open (Competitive level):

  • Highly skilled players who played Senior, Intermediate, and University levels. Designed for players of an advanced level with strong skating and puck handling abilities.
  • Slapshots allowed
  • No Body Checking

Women B (Competitive-Recreational level):

  • Teams are comprised of primarily recreational level players looking to play a moderately competitive calibre.
  • No Senior or Univ. players allowed.
  • No Slapshots
  • No Body Checking

Women C: (Recreational-Beginner level):

  • Teams are comprised of primarily recreational, beginner level players. No Senior or Univ. players allowed.
  • No Slapshots
  • No Body Checking
