Rodeo Day is the evaluation for players seeking entry into the RELM Sports Development Ecosystem. This is not a camp; it is a talent identification event for our Spring, Summer, and Academy programs.
April 11 - Junior & Varsity (2006-2010)
Are you ready for the next step in your hockey journey? The Kingston Wranglers are scouting for our USPHL Junior and Varsity rosters. Join us Saturday, April 11th, for an elite, one-day Prospect ID Camp designed to test your pace, skill, and hockey IQ in a professional environment.
The Pro-Style Schedule | Invista Centre
- 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM | Tactical Assessment & Skills: High-tempo session led by our Junior coaching staff, focusing on transition play, puck protection, and technical execution at a Junior pace.
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Intermission & Recovery
- 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM | Showcase Scrimmage: Small-area games and a full-ice scrimmage to evaluate game-speed decision-making and competitive drive.
The Program Immersion | RELM Training Centre
Following the on-ice sessions, we invite players to our high-performance home for:
- Facility Tour: Explore the off-ice training environment that fuels our athletes.
- USPHL & Varsity Roadmap: An in-depth info session on our league structure, recruitment process, and player advancement philosophy.
- Staff Meet & Greet: Direct access to coaches and management for Q&A.
- Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Registration Details
- Investment: $100 (Includes 3 hours of elite ice time, Custom Prospect Jersey, and refreshments).
- Status: Pre-registration is highly recommended to secure your roster spot and jersey sizing.
- Walk-Ins: Accepted on-site, strictly subject to remaining capacity.
April 12 - 14U & 16U (2011-2013)
The Kingston Wranglers are scouting the next generation of talent. On Sunday, April 12th, we invite 14U players from Kingston and the surrounding region to our annual Rodeo Day. This is a high-intensity, 4-hour immersion into our professional development environment.
The Development-Style Schedule | The High-Performance Schedule
- 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM | Technical Skills & Tactical Drills: High-tempo evaluation of puck pursuit, edge work, and skill execution under pressure.
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Intermission & Recovery
- 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Competitive Scrimmage: Small-area games and full-ice scrimmage to evaluate hockey IQ and game-situation decision-making.
The RELM Training Centre Experience
Following the on-ice sessions, move to the RELM Training Centre for:
- Facility Tour: See our elite off-ice development home.
- Program Info Session: A deep dive into our league, coaching philosophy, and player pathways.
- Meet & Greet: Direct Q&A with Wranglers staff.
- Snacks and refreshments provided.
Registration & Capacity Details
To ensure high-quality scouting ratios and optimal ice flow, we are strictly limiting this event to 40 Skaters and 6 Goalies.
- Cost: $100 (Includes 3 hours of ice, custom prospect jersey, and refreshments).
- Pre-Register (Recommended): Secure one of the 46 guaranteed spots and your jersey size online.
- Walk-Ins: Accepted on game day strictly subject to remaining capacity.
