Weekly Alternating Schedule

Players are divided into two groups of 6 and alternate between ice and skatemill sessions each week.

What Players Will Work On

Skatemill Training

Players begin with a full individual skating analysis, followed by a custom plan built to strengthen stride mechanics focusing on:

  • Glide foot positioning

  • Ankle extension

  • Knee bend and posture

  • Arm movement patterns

  • Head position

  • Overall skating efficiency

Each session is tailored to build strong, repeatable habits.

On-Ice Instruction

On the ice, players apply what they’ve learned while developing real-game skating habits:

  • Striding and acceleration

  • Edge control and stability

  • Turning radius and transitions

  • Puck control while maintaining strong skating mechanics

Coaches assess and adjust technique in real time to ensure steady, measurable improvement.
