Training Centre Coach

Chad Muller is a dynamic forward and rising coach at our RELM Hockey Development Centre, currently competing as a freshman at Long Island University in NCAA Division I hockey. Standing 6’1″ and weighing 190 lbs, he plays right wing and occasionally center, known for his intensity, heavy shot, and versatile two‐way game.

Muller developed through AAA hockey in Kingston and was drafted 19th overall in the OHL U18 draft by the London Knights. He went on to play Junior A in Canada before joining the North American Hockey League with the Minot Minotauros, where in the 2023–24 season he posted 13 points and 94 penalty minutes in 23 games, showcasing his gritty, impact‐oriented style. That hard‐nosed approach earned him an NCAA Division I commitment to LIU in December 2023.

Off the ice, Muller is a dedicated student, majoring in Health Sciences at LIU and was an honor roll athlete in high school, excelling in hockey and lacrosse. His line of family hockey connection runs deep, his uncle is NHL veteran Kirk Muller, grounding Chad in elite-level hockey heritage .

Since 2022, Chad has also served as a featured coach with RELM Sports Academy in Kingston. He leads the “Scoring with Mullz” offensive skills training sessions, integrating video analysis and cutting-edge tools like our RELM Hockey Development Centre to elevate player development.

Chad blends high-level competitive experience, modern skills coaching, and analytical insight, empowering young players to develop scoring ability and on-ice confidence. At RELM, he’s become a passionate mentor whose blend of hustle, tech-driven teaching, and genuine enthusiasm make him an invaluable asset to the athlete development community.
