The Wranglers organization had a monumental weekend, with action spanning across three different teams and multiple locations. While the U8 and U9 squads tackled tournament play, the Junior team defended the home ice, providing fans with plenty of action across the board.

Kingston Wranglers Junior Team: Dynamo Edge Squad at Home

The Kingston Wranglers Junior team had a condensed schedule this past weekend, playing only a single game at home. Their scheduled matchup at New York Dynamo was unfortunately cancelled due to weather conditions.

On Sunday, the Wranglers faced off against the New York Dynamo, competing fiercely but ultimately coming up short in a 3-1 loss. The team showed flashes of brilliance, and fans who missed the action can catch the best moments!

U8 Wranglers Show Grit at Kings Cup in Oshawa

The U8 Wranglers traveled to Oshawa for the competitive Kings Cup, showcasing their hard work and determination. While the pool play proved challenging, the team never backed down.

Tournament Highlights

The U8 squad started their tournament strong on Friday, securing two hard-fought ties: a 1-1 draw against the Dufferin Ducks and a thrilling 5-5 deadlock with the EO Young Kings West. Saturday brought two tough losses against the GTA Aces U8 Red (5-1) and Northern Saints Gold (7-1).

A Dominant Finish

Despite a challenging round-robin, the Wranglers found their stride in their final game of the weekend, delivering a dominant 4-0 victory against the JTE Hockey Club. Their coaches noted the pool was highly competitive, but the experience gained will be invaluable for future success. This shutout win was the perfect way to finish the grueling tournament.

U9 RELM Wranglers End Belleville Bash on a High Note

The U9 RELM Wranglers competed in the Belleville Bash, enduring a difficult round-robin but demonstrating impressive mental toughness to conclude their weekend with two decisive wins.

Strong Finish Against the Mustangs

The U9 squad secured their first win early Friday afternoon with a 7-3 victory over the SGB Riptide. After two tough losses on Saturday, the Wranglers put on a show in their final game, defeating the Durham Mustangs 5-2.

The ability of the U9 Wranglers to bounce back and deliver strong performances at the end of a busy tournament reflects their excellent conditioning and team focus, sending the players and fans home on a high note.
