The 2010 RELM Sports team opened up tournament play yesterday late afternoon against TBC with a 5-0 loss but the score doesn't tell the story.
Despite the 5-0 loss the team was able to take away a ton of positives from the game. They got better by the shift and started to come alive as a team by the minute to compete with a strong TBC squad.
Coaches Nolan Lalonde and Joey Musa stated "we're really proud of the boys effort today as they never gave up and kept battling the entire game, they adapted really well to the feedback and adjustments we were giving and we're extremely excited for the rest of the week with this squad."
The team finished the game 100% on the penalty kill going 1/1 and really impressed the coaches how strong they played short-handed. After not getting many of the bounces the 2010 squad had high spirits post game and are hungry for their next game tomorrow Wednesday, July 12th at 1:45pm.
