RELM Sports

We started in 2009, and after rebranding in 2018, we reintroduced RELM Sports. We are a family company based in Kingston, Ontario. Our philosophy is simple: provide a great experience through sport and encourage players, of all levels, to come back to their sport as often as they can.  RELM stands for Ryan Erin Libby Molly (our family members names).  We offer tournaments, teams, camps, and clinics for various sports.  We are incredibly grateful for our involvement in sports and love that we can offer opportunities for you and your family to participate!  We believe that sports should be fun!

LeighAnn Wannamaker-Kennedy - Hotel Coordinator & Office Administrator

I have never played a day of hockey in my life; but was introduced to the sport when I married my husband and after we had our children.  I would attend games to watch my Husband referee and eventually to watch my now 13yo player.  He is a goalie and kind of my favorite.

As time passed, I became interested in understanding the logistics of hockey and found myself working for RELM Sports in the Administrative field.  Listening intently to my employer as he spoke to parents, referees, coaches and players.  Hearing the passion in his voice for the love of the game intrigued me to understand more.  Over the last 10 years I have been assisting RELM sports with Registrations, rules and regulations for the tournaments and most recently assisting our teams to secure lodgings and just have a great time at the tournaments.

I very much enjoy working for RELM sports.  The atmosphere is calm, funny and at times challenging.  Who doesn’t love a challenge?  I love watching the younger players learn their positions and have fun with their team.  Spring hockey is one of my favorites to watch.  The girls run their music loud and the boys seems to be more serious; but the commonality is that they all love being at the rink, playing the game and having a great time.  Between smiles from winning, tears from a loss and the laughter in between are what make those days the best.  I look forward to working more tournaments with RELM and enjoying the atmosphere it brings.
