2010 RELM Recap - Sunshine Cup Day 2
The 2010 RELM team continued the tournament with game 2 yesterday afternoon. This is how they did.

After a tough 5-0 loss Tuesday afternoon the 2010 RELM team looked to bounce back vs Atlantic Prospects at 1:45pm yesterday. The squad would come out with that chip on their shoulder and take a 1-0 lead. They would be able to enjoy it for a little while and still tried to add another but were unable as the Prospects would tie the game up. The boys would not be discouraged however, going and taking the lead again with 2 goals to make it a 3-1 hockey game and the lead into the third period. But as they say, a 2 goal lead is the worst lead in hockey as the Prospects would battle back to tie the game midway through the 3rd period. The score would stay that way as regulation time finished and a shootout was needed (RELM Sports' 2nd of the day). The boys used the sudden death shootout to their advantage and made quick work of the Atlantic Prospects, ending the game in only 1 round.

Coach Joey Musa would go on to say post-game "The boys gave a strong performance today and never quit, and were rewarded with the W. We played our game no matter what they tried, and Nolan {Lalonde} and I both love coaching this squad and they seem to love playing for us, and we both fight for each other."

The 2010's look to carry this momentum into today when their back in action at 10:15am vs the Royals
