2013 RELM Recap - Sunshine Cup Day 2
2013's were back in action with a pair of games yesterday, here is how they did.
The first game of the day would be at 7:45 am as the 2013 squad would take on the Tampa Selects. The selects would come out flying as they took an early 2-0 lead. The squad however would keep the Selects off the scoreboard with a hard fought effort and good defensive play against a strong and fast Tampa team. It wouldn't be until late in the third however when the Tampa Selects would get another one through and keeping the foot on the gas ending the game with a 6-0 loss for the 2013's.
They would look to bounce back as they would face the Florida Wild at 11:45 am. The Wild would score first however taking a 2-0 lead in the game, the team kept battling back though not to have a repeat of the mornings game and got one back making it 2-1. Later on in the game the Wild would find the back of the net again making it 3-1, but shortly after the 2013's would get another one back making it a one goal game yet again. But unluckily, the Wild would add one more goal to seal the game off and give the 2013's a bittersweet 4-2 loss to end round robin play.
The 2013's begin playoff action today with their semi-final matchup when they get another shot at the Tampa Selects at 10:15 am.
