2013 RELM Recap - Sunshine Cup Day 3
The 2013 gang would play both of their playoff matchups yesterday, let's see how we did!
The 2013's would kick off their morning with a semi final matchup at 10:15 am against the Tampa Selects. The Selects would be prepared for our squad unfortunately, taking an early lead and never looking back. The squad would end up losing 9-0 to Tampa and then set their sights to later in the day when they would play in the consolation finals.
The finals would take place at 7:15 pm when the RELM squad would meet the Florida Wild on the ice. A strong and hard fought effort would come up just short in their battle with the Wild, losing with a score of 5-3. The team battled the whole way never giving up and always pushing.
"We're really proud of this team and being able to be apart of their lives and it was a privilege to coach a great team all week." Nolan Lalonde said after the consolation final yesterday night.
