2007 RELM Recap - Sunshine Cup Day 1
Our oldest team at the Sunshine Cup had game 1 of the tournament yesterday and looked well put together. Here's the scoop.
The 2007 group coached by Dave Mullins and James Parisi played a strong game yesterday afternoon at 4:45 agaisnt the Jake Allen Prospects. They took an early 1-0 lead and never looked back, proceeding to add another goal. The Prospects looking to make a comeback attempt would be able to bring the lead down to 1 however that was just met by another RELM goal. The boys would hold out to take a 3-1 victory over the Jake Allen prospects, and if this is a glimpse for the rest of the tournament, they'll be ones to watch out for.
Coach James Parisi went on to say "The boys knew what needed to be done, and they did it. Our group knows what we came here to do and they don't want to settle for anything less. I'm really proud of our efforts in this game and we had fun while doing it too"
The '07s pick it up again tonight at 7:00 pm against the Tampa Bulls.
